C++ Developer
Job Description:
Currently we have an opening for a C++ Developer. The successful candidate will be writing and maintaining device application code, developing procedures for synchronization using SOAP RPC, developing test specification and build test cases for Windows CE application.

- Ability to handle project independently and provide realistic project timeline
- Ensures that system designs support reliable, scalable, secure, and flexible solutions
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
- Takes initiative, self-directed, and able to adapt readily to fast paced change
- Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills, including sound leadership abilities
- Excellent understanding of the application of information technology to support business processes
Technical Competences:
- B.Sc./diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics or Software Engineering
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience developing handheld applications using C++
- Experience writing database synchronization algorithm
- Programming experience with Sockets and Internet Protocols
- Knowledge of database management systems, PostgreSQL and SQLite
- Good knowledge of XML (XML Schema, XSLT) and XML Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)
- Sound knowledge of software architectures, OOA/OOD, design patterns
- Experience with UML and Software Modeling tools
- Good working knowledge of UNIX and NT
- Knowledge of Software Engineering testing principles
- Familiarity with wxWidgets (wxWindows) framework would be considered an asset
